Hello!
................................................
This post was scheduled for Friday the 2nd, but did not publish! I am sorry for the mishap, and hope you all enjoyed the very first D2D blog hop!
.................................
If you have just come from Michelle's blog, you are in the right place! If not, and you would like to join in the hopping fun, you will want to start at the Delightful Inspirations blog for all the details! There is a free digital stamp involved!!
The gorgeous digital stamp I am showcasing for you is called 'Hand Picked'. It is available in Faith Skrdla's Designed2Delight Digital Stamp Shop today!
The stitched frame really draws your attention to the beautiful flower, I just love it!
For this project, I printed the image twice on watercolor paper, and once on Kraft cardstock for the base layer.
I cut the Kraft colored image by hand, added highlighting with a stipple brush, and ran it through my cuttlebug with a corrugated cardboard folder. I watercolored the white images with dye inks and my aqua brush, cut them out, and adhered them together using mini glue dots. Lots of dimension and texture!
Decorating the inside of the card is also fun, and this one mirrors the card front with pretty papers and sewing!

I hope you have enjoyed my card today, and are excited about this month's new releases at the Designed2Delight Shop!
Thanks for hopping with us!

ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! I'm in LOVE with this image! I love how you layered the flower on the embossed background....so clever and just the perfect touch!! So glad to get to work with you on the D2D team! :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! The texture is a great touch - as is printing on kraft instead of the usual white. Great inspiration.
ReplyDeleteYour cards are wonderful!!! Don't feel bad about the post. Things like this happen to all of us. So glad to have you as a friend on the team. Hugs
