Butterfly Any Occasion Card

Hello bloggers and stampers!
Today the weather has been dull and dreary, so I have been knee deep in house cleaning. I thought I'd take a break and share a sweet card with you, and then get back to work! LOL!
I have been loving this butterfly stamp with glitter, and so it's no surprise that I've used it again this way! It just looks marvelous, don't you think??

The paper is Cottage Wall dsp from Stampin' Up!, as is the glitter and butterfly image. I love it, and plan to stock up before it is too late. I am so glad that SU decided to add the Razzleberry to it's regular line up! I can't wait to see what they come up with in the next catty! My list is a mile long for the current catty! LOL!!
The flower stamp I used inside the card is from 'For All You Do'. I love that set a LOT! It is wonderful!

Okay, that's all I know for now!
Back to work girl!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Butterfly Birthday!

Hello! Glad you stopped by my blog to see what's up with ol' Sherrie! :)
Life couldn't be any busier or sweeter than it is right now! My oldest son is about to graduate, and today I am registering my little guy for kindergarten. So you can imagine the happiness/anxiety/emotional wreck roller coaster ride I am on!! Everytime I stop and think about those two things I get all mushy, so I am not thinking any more, and am focusing on all the tasks and preparations instead. phew! Keeps my head on straight, or just slightly less cocked! LOL!
I made this cute birthday card last week, and yes, there are more pearls and glitter!! I am loving those two details at the moment! Just can't get enough!
This card uses all Stampin' Up! products, except for the jute twine from PapertreyInk.

I have a HUGE 'to-do' list today, and had better get dressed!! I have been checking out the new PTI website and sneek peeks going on at Nichole Heady's blog, and have lost all track of time!! GOOD STUFF this month!! Can't...... stop...... looking!! LOL!!

Okay....got to fly!
Have a fantastic day!

You Make Me Smile Note Card

Hello!
Today I have a sweet note card to share with you! It features a hand made flower using the Floral Fusion Sizzlit Die from Stampin' Up!, and those cute corduroy buttons and brads! I love those!
I also added some more ruffled ribbon to this card, I am enjoying it that much!! It is nice to have several different ways to use ribbon, besides just tying a bow or knot! It has helped my mojo for sure!
Here is a close up!
The patterned paper is quite busy, so I kept the embellishments clean and simple to balance the card. I think it works!
Thanks for stopping by and putting up with me today!
Have a good one!

Thanks a bunch Note Cards!

Hello!
Jumping in with another note card for you! This one features a cute flower bouquet, and one of my favorite SU colors, Razzleberry!
I watercolored the image with dye inks and my aqua brush, and purposely colored outside the lines! It turned out great with this flower stamp. I added Glossy Glaze to each flower, giving them texture and shine! So pretty!

I also found a use for these cute buttons I found at WalMart a while back! They were a great final touch!
I will be selling this card, in a set of three, in my Etsy shop soon.

In other news, we have decided not to sell our house and move. We just love it here too much, and the boys are growing up fast. Soon, my oldest son Josh will be moving out, (sigh) and we will have a little more elbow room. And, as soon as my youngest starts Kindergarten in the Fall, I will be getting a real 9 to 5 job. That will help us out quite a bit. So we are staying put. I do miss my family who live inside the city, but I plan to try harder to visit them more.
I am very happy to be able to hang up all of my pictures and decorations again! The walls are so bare! We are also going to rearrange all of the furniture, and sometime soon, buy a new bed for us, and couches! Woo-hoo! :) I am so glad!

So, hope you enjoyed my little creation there, and I wish you all a great day!

A Sweet Birthday Card

Hello stampers!
It has been a while since I posted to my blog, so I thought I'd better get with it! I am not really sure that anyone really missed me, but I can dream, can't I?
I have been busy doing yard work, getting my garden prepped for the season, and stamping of course!!
Here is one of my latest creations:
I used a stamp set from Inkadinkado for the sentiment and cupcake images. I'd have to say that this is one of my favorite sets from Inkadinkado. It is super cute!
I stamped and heat embossed the cupcake twice, and layered it on the die cut circles after watercoloring it with Stampin' Up! inks and an aqua brush.
The ruffled ribbon idea is from Ashley Cannon Newell, she does wonderful things with ribbon! AND STAMPS!! I wanted to try this technique and look, so here it is! Just runner adhesive and ribbon. I used a few glue dots to keep the ruffles in place, it was so easy, and I love the way it looks!

Okay, I hope you like it too! :)

Gotta go!
