That's my baby...first day of Kindergarten. Look how happy he is! I know he is going to love school!
The house is so quiet. I am at a loss of what I am supposed to do next. It feels so strange to be all alone. I have been close to tears all day. This is definitely going to be harder for me than him!!
What is a small milestone in his life, is a huge, life changing event for me.
I don't have any babies anymore, they are all grown.
And now I've got to figure out what to do with me.

I felt the same way, but then you find so many things, the next thing you know they are home. You are not alone, so it is OK to feel lonely. Mine are 11 and 19. The pictures are so cute, nice scrapbooking moment maybe?
ReplyDeleteOMG, he looks so sweet...and you put him on that big ol' bus...reading your words and I could cry with you.
ReplyDeleteSooo Sweet!! He looks soo HAPPY to be going off to school. I remember the day my girls went to Kindergarten. I was teary-eyed too as I stood on the edge of the playground and watched my DD walk out to the swings and saw them full and she sat on the grass all by herself. Then I watched as another li'l girl came over to her and sat beside her and they made friends. Awww... I knew she was gonna be okay.
ReplyDeleteWhen my girls started school I wasn't into stamping yet, and I got bored after a while (couple months) so I got a morning job... just to do something with myself. If I was home NOW, I'd be crafting the day away. Which is what I do almost every afternoon anyway! LOL. I'm sure you'll find the days FLY BY! Enjoy the quiet for a while. *Ü*
He is so cute Sherrie! The second pic is my favorite, the expression on his face is adorable. Last year my oldest started K and I was a wreck. But slowly I got used to it. Enjoy the quiet for a bit and I'm sure you will figure out what to do with your time.
